How Does It Work
We are making some changes to our program in 2025.
This year we are only receiving 50 family names from House of Friendship, Family Outreach Program. It’s important that you respond to this letter by November 1st, 2025, confirming the number of Families and the number of Children in the family you wish to sponsor. Then we call the parents to see what is on the Childs wish list. Once you have responded I’ll email you the information on the children as soon as possible.
The process:
We will be receiving the list of names after October 23rd which you can sponsor in 1 of 3 ways:
1. Choose a child, family or multiple families to buy gifts for; Sponsorship Please Limited to $100-$150
per child.
2. Choose a child, family, or families. Send us the money and we shop for you.
3. Make a monetary donation of any amount. Cash, cheque, or e-transfer to nanh67@gmail.com
The suggested cost of sponsoring a child is $100-150. Individual donations of new toys and clothing for children from birth to 15 years old are needed as well.
Teaming Up
Is your office, school, sports team, club or neighbourhoods interested in working together to make a difference in a child or family life this holiday season? If so, we hope that you’ll consider working together to raise funds to sponsor one or more of our needy children in our community.
Having run the program for 63 years, we at KW Sertoma know just how incredible it is to put smiles on the faces of children at Christmas.
We hope that your organization can reach out and support this very worthy cause. It’s an excellent way to build team spirit while making a difference in our community.
